1. This issue is ridiculous! Yes, we are going to spend our hard earned tax dollars on discussing if we should teach the pseudoscience of ‘intelligent design’ in our schools. I want to encourage you to call or write your state senator, congressman and the governor and let them know that you want to keep evolution right where it is in our schools. Don’t let creationism gain a foothold! (If evolutionists don’t get up and do something creationists just might gain a foothold.)
2. To let folks know that not all Christians are 'creationists'. I am a Christian and I am an evolutionist. That’s not a contradiction. They are compatible. It’s true.
3. It’s a learning experience. To evolve myself, learn something new. Despite the fact I think this is a ridiculous debate I still find it interesting.
4. For fun and personal amusement, of course. I hope you folks find it useful and enjoy it as well.

Why I created this blog
With the Intelligent (“divine”) Design/Creationist vs. Evolution debate getting ready to really kick off here in Utah I thought it would be interesting to create this blog for several reasons:

I would like to say thankyou for the informative information that you have posted on your second blog. But I do have a comment to make. I am a christian.... People do tend to judge me for the belief that I hold dear to my heart. I believe that everyone has a right to choose... I also believe that we should not force evolution down the throat of children; we should give them two options, evolution or creation... they already took prayer out of schools... what about holidays do children have a right to decide if they do not want to celebrate holidays due to their faith...should we force the children to partake of such holidays. should I tell my child who is eighteen to become one of Jehovah's witness if he chooses not too. Should I force him or should I allow him to choose by taking in knowledge and discerning for himself what choice he would like to make. What religion he should decide... is his choice as long as he has abundant knowledge in selecting which religion he chose. Thankyou for listening to my point of view...
Hi, 4 years later I'm finding the information collected in your useful in preparing a response to my public high school biology class that is teaching the earth is young (less than 10K years) and that evolutionary theory has holes, therefore, the supposed literal biblical view (which evidently has no holes) is better.
Thanks!
Your welcome, Barney.
